Background:
I had recently headed up a project that involved socializing the idea of landing page best practices to our marketing partners as well as our search team. The idea was to test a more focused, more elegantly styled page that was stripped down to the very basics.
Project:
Single product focus (premium business cards), while maintaining one related, secondary product (free business cards – yellow link near bottom). In a quick glance answering who we are, what we’re offering and why the customer is in the right place to make a purchase.
Results:
A significant rise in CR, GM, and AOV, giving Vistaprint a new control paid search landing page for it’s #1 product.
